THE OUTSIDE OF MY RANGE HOOD DOES NOT GET CLEAN!

Ordinary maintenance products like Windex® are not effective enough to remove food residue that may remain stuck on the outer metal panels of range hoods, especially if it is a stainless steel hood. Food residues leave marks on the stainless steel that must be removed by polishing with a cream cleaner like STAINLESS POLISH (product number 903069). Once the stains and toxins are removed from the stainless steel panel, a maintenance and protection product such as PRO-LINK® (product number YA007C) should be sprayed onto these surfaces to block the metal pores and protect against oils from fingers and acids in foods. To purchase these products, visit one of our stores or order them directly online.

THE FILTERS ON MY RANGE HOOD DO NOT GET CLEAN!

Ordinary maintenance products such as Sunlight® are not effective enough to remove food residues that can stay stuck to filters in range hoods. Soaking in a grease-removing cleaner like Hertel would be an appropriate solution for cleaning filters.

Placing the filters in the dishwasher if they are made of stainless steel is another viable solution. However, aluminum filters may get stained if put in the dishwasher!

To purchase new filters, visit one of our stores or order them
 directly online.
